The year: 2022. The mission: Partner with the Bored Ape Yacht Club to launch cinematic trailers to promote “Otherside,” an upcoming MMO game that begins to expand Yuga Labs’ IP into an animated, cinematic universe.

Partnering with the creatives at Yuga Labs was a dream as we teamed up to tackle time-honored questions like “How would our illustrated portfolio of NFT ape illustrations work as fully-fleshed out animated CG characters?” and “What’s beneath their shoulder line?”

I got to CG supervise and co lead this fun ride of a trailer between BUCK’s LA and NY studios.
My main responsibilities were look dev, modeling and translating the Bored Ape IP into 3d.
